Ukrainian folklore - oral folk poetry of the Ukrainian people in its entirety, namely with its inherent genre, regional and other features in historical development; an integral part of national culture, in particular Ukrainian folk culture; the basis of the spiritual culture of Ukrainians, namely national literature, music, theater; a valuable source of Ukrainian humanities, including national ethnography and history, Ukrainian (and Slavic) linguistics, and a number of other related fields.
Folk dances are a great example of Ukrainian folklore.
In tanks and round dances, accompanied by simple songs, people aroused cheerful energy, cheerful mood, trying to convey them to nature, to stir up their imitation movements and actions of its power to a new life, to influence it in the desired direction.
