State system of Ukraine
Ukraine is a unitary democratic parliamentary-presidential republic and has a multi-party political system. The following main institutions of state power operate in Ukraine: the President, the legislature, the executive and the judiciary.
Executive power is represented by the Cabinet of Ministers by central executive bodies and local executive bodies. The legislature, the parliament, is called the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The judiciary is represented by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and courts of general jurisdiction - a system of general and specialized courts of various instances.
